How do I obtain the electronic notebook?

Before considering an electronic notebook, please discuss it with your supervisor. We can only grant team members access if the PI has activated the electronic notebook.

To access your eLabFTW account, you will need:

  • To be registered in the CNRS Database (RESEDA)
  • To have a security key for Janus+ Enhanced Authentication
  • To be connected to the IBMP network or via VPN

 

Here is the procedure to activate your eLabFTW account:

  1. Send an email to ibmp-cle@unistra.fr indicating a time slot for the security key enrollment.
  2. Obtain a USB security key from Jean-Luc Evrard, available from Monday to Thursday.
  3. We will then send you a link (at the time you indicated) to connect your key to your Janus+ account. Please note that the email link is only valid for 30 minutes.

 

Once you have completed this step, you can log in to eLabFTW at: https://xyleme.ibmp.unistra.fr

 

How to log in:

 

Access and navigation problem within eLAB?

  • Your browser might be in cause: Use preferentially Safari or Firefox (over Chrome) for security reason. However, the Safari version is linked to OS X version and might be incompatible with eLAB on older machines. In this case, switch to a recent Firefox version as an internet browser.
