I am Dr. Subhankar Sahu, and I will be joining Dr. Christophe Ritzenthaler’s team as a Post Doctoral Fellow. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics, and Nanotechnology (IEMN), CNRS, at the University of Lille, and I hold a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India.

I will be working as a Research Engineer on the ‘Development of Plant Virus Surveillance Strategies”. My research will focus on developing innovative biosensing tools for double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), a universal biomarker for viral infections, and utilizing Nanopore sequencing technology for quantitative analysis.
