Centrifuges

The persons in charge of the high-speed centrifuges and ultracentrifuges are Thalia Salinas-Giegé and Joëlle Hoenen and they are relayed by referents on each floor :

  • For the 1st floor: Thalia Salinas-Giegé (326 lab)
  • For the 2nd floor: Haute vitesse-Jean-Etienne Bassard (584) / Andréa Hemmerlin (555)/ Christophe Himber (426) / Nicolas Baumberger (209) – Ultra-Mikhail Shchepetilnikov (554)
  • For the 4th floor: Esther Lechner (612 lab)

If you encounter any problem with any centrifuge or rotor contact the person in charge and report it on: centrifuge support

Rules

1- Write your name or initials, lab number and the rotor you wish to use on the booking sheets, even if you use it in the evening or during the week-end.
2- Clean the centrifuge and the rotor after use; leave the centrifuge open.
3- New users have to be trained and informed of these rules and this is the responsibility of the supervisors.
4- If you encounter any problem with any centrifuge or rotor contact the person in charge and report it
