Skills
- Providing computing services dedicated to bioinformatics and web services deployment (JBrowse, Blast, CRISPOR, …)
- High-throughput sequencing data analysis, particularly Illumina and ONT technologies, on various topics (smRNA-seq, RNA-seq, metagenomics 16S, genome assembly, ChIP-seq, Bs-seq, …).
- Tools and workflow development as visualisation tools and databases.
- Training in bioinformatics methods and tools.
Request for a bioinformatics analysis / development
A request form has to be filled and attached to the online application on http://tickets.ibmp.unistra.fr/
You have to describe the project, the available data and what you are expected.
A meeting will be plane to define together the specifications, the deliverables, the deadline and the bioinformatician in charge of the project.
For data analysis, the data should have the mandatory control, replicates and read sequencing depth to have the more reliable results.
If the data were already analysed, you have to provide the raw data, the scripts, tools and parameters previously used.
For each project, the core facility will provide you :
- A « materials and methods » for the analysis
- The complete results (workflows/scripts, rawdata, processed data, report, figures… as defined during the first meeting) on the dedicated server (smb://offshore.ibmp.unistra.fr/Bioinfo$).
- A backup of the project kept on the bioinformatics storage space during 3 years.
Forms :
- Request of an NGS analysis:

- Request of a tool development:

- Request of an other bioinformatics analysis:

- Request an HPC account:
(NB: For a HPC account request, you should accept the operating rules)
For publication, poster, presentations you have to cite the bioinformatician in charge of the analysis and you have to acknowledge the Bioinformatics Core Facility.
