Short talks

Monday 9.15 and 9.30 in the Leon Hirt Seminar room. Coffee and brioche are served at 9.00 in the hall.

Short talks are presentations of 10 min + 5 min discussion predominantly by Master and PhD students.
They offer an opportunity to present and discuss your future project or a selection of your results.

Each monday session has two slots, the two speakers moderate each others discussion
Some slots of 30min are reserved for the presentation of new technologies, methods, software, procedures etc (developed by yourself or someone else) that could be of broad interest but wouldn’t fill a Friday morning seminar.

Slots are allocated to teams at the beginning of each year. The actual schedule can be found here on owncloud and is permanently shared with all team leaders

Speaker names should be send at least 6 weeks before to hlange@unistra.fr
Titles should be send 2 weeks before to lydie.thiriet@ibmp-cnrs.unistra.fr, cc to hlange@unistra.fr

If you need to change your slot with someone else, contact him/her/them AND hlange@unistra.fr as much in advance as possible.
If you need to cancel please check first if one of your team members can jump in for you and inform both Lydie and Heike asap.

Two people from the organising team (Alexandre Berr, Patrick Achard, Hubert Schaller, Manfred Heinlein, Florence Ploetze, Valérie Cognat, Thalia Salinas-Giegé, Heike Lange) will be present at each talk and will help with technical issues and/moderation if needed.
