Ordering and Distribution Procedure for Radioisotopes at IBMP

1. Order Managers

Orders are handled by the CRPs: Shahinez Garcia et Nicolas Baumberger

2. Authorized Radioisotopes at IBMP

Only the following radioisotopes are authorized: 32P, 33P, 35S, 14C, 3H

3. Order Frequency and Procedures

• gamma ATP 32P and alpha dCTP 32P:

➔ Recurring orders every two weeks (0.5 mCi). The date of the next delivery is on display on  the 434 room fridge

• Other molecules:

➔ Orders on request.

4. Order Deadlines and Submission

• Submission to the supplier:

➔ No later than Monday at noon for delivery on Friday of the same week.

5. Distribution and Use of Radioisotopes

• Distribution days:

➔ Monday and Wednesday at 10 AM, based on requests received by email before 8 AM the same day.

• Pickup location:

➔ Aliquots are available in the refrigerator in room 434, in lead containers labeled with the user’s name.

 

 

Note: If you don’t receive any acknowledgement  to your request for aliquot or specific orders, just assume that all is fine. We will come back to you only if there is a problem or if we need further information.
