Scientific news

Any communication on a scientific article is prepared well before publication. Different types of communication are possible, on our screens, on our website, on the CNRS Biologie website, on Bluesky, Linked in and Xr. Contact the communication officers in IBMP, as soon as possible, specify your request and, according to your choice, send the required information.

In all cases, send the reference, the manuscript, and an illustration, followed by the publication date as soon as it is known.

For an IBMP web communication, prepare a title, a short text, a thumbnail, and possibly a figure, in French and English.

For a CNRS Biology communication, prepare your abstract following the instructions : Gabarit_actus_CNRS Biologie. As soon as your manuscript is accepted, send the following items to the communication officer:

  • The manuscript
  • The publisher’s acceptance mail
  • A proposal for communication in French (title, introduction, text, keywords, reference, researcher contact information)
  • A photo or a captioned illustration
  • A thumbnail
  • Date of publication as soon as it is known

All documents and informations (in accordance with the format required by CNRS Biologie) are sent by the communication officer to the communication service of the Alsace regional delegation, Communication department of the CNRS Biology and the CNRS press office.

CNRS Biology evaluates scientific interest, the press office of the CNRS media interest. The decision is communicated to the researcher: published in the scientific news of CRNS Biology, in the newsletter “Direct from the lab”, writing a press release, Bluesky/Twitter releases. The final text is prepared by a press officer during  exchanges with the researcher.
