Gene Expression Analysis

The goal of the Gene Expression Analysis Platform (AEG) is to provide to public and private research teams some tools and competences for the realization of their research projects related to genomics, transcriptomics and epigenetics .
This technology platform is shared between 3 research units from Strasbourg, IBMC, GMGM and IBMP.
The platform has instruments for the realization of sequencing projects (Oxford Nanopore, NGS-Illumina and Sanger), genotyping (HRM) , gene expression analysis (qPCR) and digital PCR (ddPCR)
Equipments
- Oxford Nanopore Sequencing: PromethION P2 and 2 MinION with Flongle Adapter
- Illumina NGS sequencing: MiSeq
- Digital PCR: Stilla Naica System
- Genes expression analysis by qPCR and HRM genotyping: Roche LC480-II
- Quality control of NGS sequencing samples and libraries: Bioanalyzer 2100 (Agilent); Qubit (ThermoFisher Scientific)

Recognition and promotion
The platform must be mentioned in the acknowledgments of publications. If the degree of involvement in the work justifies it, the platform staff should be included in the authors of the publications. A copy of the articles will be sent to the platform manager after publication.
