… with an engineer position.

Since his license, David followed a university course at the color of bioinformatics. He obtained his Master in Bioinformatics “Architecture and Function of Life” from the University of Strasbourg in 2013.
His internships led him to work in different laboratories in Strasbourg (GMGM, IBMC-ARN) and in Basel (Novartis).

For his first EI position in bioinformatics (CDD from 2013-2016), he worked in the team of Joseph Schacherer (GMGM) and participated in particular in the France Genomics project “1002 yeast genomes”.
He arrived for the first time at the IBMP in 2016 to help the bioinformatics team with a 6-month fixed-term contract; he then worked 3 months for the team of Manfred Heinlein and18 months for that of Todd Blevins, before joining  the bioinformatics platform for 20 months until July 2019.
After a short trip to the Paul Strauss center, David is back at the IBMP since December 1, 2019 with this time a permanent position on the platform!
