from the 30th anniversary of the IBMP to the 80th anniversary of the CNRS

After 535 days in the lobby, the IBMP’s 30th anniversary frieze has given way to the CNRS’s 80th anniversary logo.

With our previous experience, this hanging announced easy. It was without counting on the reluctance of this beautiful blue wall to accommodate any intrusion even discreet, light and institutional!

In 2017 already, we had to deploy a team of shock to hang this long and heavy tarpaulin.
their strengths: perfect control of the D system, targeted seduction, high technology, muscles, agility and flexibility.
to their credit: the recovery of a concrete reinforcing bar (ISIS construction site), cut with a saw and wrapped in a plastic film, the installation of clamps between the iron and the eyelets of the tarpaulin, the hanging strings on inaccessible supports under the false ceiling, strings passed in the necklaces to hoist and stretch the canvas to the strength of the arms.

In 2019, the removal of the frieze took place without difficulty. On the other hand, the commemorative object, fixed in various ways, repeatedly refused to keep its original location. We therefore opted for a lower but more stable position.
