IBMP retreat at Marlenheim
The management, the team leaders, the researchers who are members of the management college or the platform steering committees, the communication officer met on Thursday, September 24 at the Xavier Muller vineyard estate in Marlenheim.
After a word of welcome, Philippe Giegé recalled the objectives of this day.
The morning was devoted to synthetic presentations of each team; their research subjects, their projects, the structure of the team and its evolution, as well as proposals for the scientific strategy of the IBMP. The actual or potential interactions between the teams were highlighted.
In the afternoon, the participants divided into 3 groups successively discussed, in round tables of 40 ‘, the following themes:
Theme 1: Governing bodies and organization of the IBMP, scientific animation, teaching policy, attractiveness
Theme 2: New technologies
Theme 3: Cross-cutting research themes
A summary was produced and presented to everyone by a representative from each group.
The scientific meeting ended at 5:15 p.m.
A visit of the wine press and vats, followed by a tasting, ended this intense day with a convivial moment.
