Two newcomers to 509.
Welcome to Elise Hoffmann and Louis-Thibault Corbin who both join the team Stress signaling to the nucleus.
Elise obtained a post of assistant engineer funded for one year by the Human Frontier project obtained by Marie-Edith Chabouté. During her professional license (Genome and biotechnology for plant improvement – University of Toulouse), Elise did an internship at INRA in Colmar, in the “Virology and vection” team of Véronique Brault. She was instrumental in obtaining a fluorescent virus particle of the turnip jaundice virus.
Louis-Thibault joined the team at the beginning of January for a 12-month fixed-term contract. He works for the Interreg DialogProTec project (Chemical Dialogue in the Sustainable Technological Protection of Plants) in which Anne-Catherine Schmit participates. After a DUT in Biological Engineering (Biological and Biochemical Analysis option) in Lille, he discovered the profession of laboratory technician during an internship in a medical genetics laboratory at the Jeanne de Flandre hospital. Wishing to deepen his knowledge in genetics and molecular biology, he follows the Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Strasbourg. His license in pocket, he finds his first job at the IBMP.
