Welcome to Kanade TATSUMI

Kanade got her Ph.D degree last March in Kyoto University. She worked in the laboratory of Prof. Kazufumi Yazaki who is interested in plant specialised metabolites and their roles in rhizosphere. During her master and Ph.D course, she studied the transport mechanism of lipophilic specialized metabolites in a medicinal plant.

She joined the lab Evolution and diversity of plant metabolism as postdoctoral researcher. For the next 2 years, she will work with Hugues Renault, on a project aiming at elucidate evolution of apoplastic barriers of land plants.
