Welcome to Lijuan HAN
After completing her master’s degree at the Northwest A&F University, Lijuan was awarded a scholarship to do her thesis in Europe. She joined Peter Brodersen’s group at the University of Copenhagen and defended her PhD in March 2020: “My project was to decipher the different mechanisms of action of DCL proteins in plant antiviral resistance.”
COVID19 has delayed her arrival at IBMP until August 2021. She has been hired for three years as a postdoctoral researcher in Pascal Genschik’s group. She will work on the ANR-funded dsRNA-Targets project.
